Porcelain Veneers in Wilmington, NC

If you are thinking about improving your smiles, porcelain veneers may be an answer for you.

Porcelain veneers from our dental office in Wilmington, NC are basically a thin layer of porcelain that is bonded directly over the outside surface of your tooth.  The beauty of this procedure is, it can be used to brighten your smile, and close unattractive gaps while being very kind to your existing tooth.  It is a permanent solution to teeth that are rotated, yellow or unattractive  for any number of reasons.

It is easy to get started.  In our office at Edgerton and Fisher, we begin with a set of photographs and plaster models of your teeth.  We then analyze your smile, and with the help of computer imaging, we can design a smile that enhances your appearance and create a “smile lift” specifically for you.  When you have approved your “new look” we can begin your smile transformation.  Usually it takes just two appointments to prepare your teeth and place your veneers.  At our office at Edgerton and Fisher, we have placed hundreds of porcelain veneers in Wilmington, NC and we use only the finest laboratories in America to fabricate our restorations.

We maintain our skills by being members of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  We attend annual meetings to stay abreast of the latest technology.

So, if this is something you have been thinking about, give us a call today at 910-256-9230, and start your journey to a beautiful smile.

How Does The TAP Appliance Work?

The Thornton Adjustable Positioner (TAP) is based on the same principle as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR.  The airway has to be opened to allow air to pass through the throat.  If the airway is constricted or collapsed, this can cause snoring and /or sleep apnea.

The TAP appliance holds the lower jaw in a forward position, so that it does not fall open during the night and cause the airway to collapse.  The appliance maintains a clear airway to reduce snoring and improve your breathing. To find out more on how the TAP appliance can help treat snoring issues in Wilmington, NC, contact the office of Dr. Stephen Edgerton and Dr. David Fisher for a consultation.
